The E&I Inspector shall assist and report to the QA Engineer/Discipline
Engineers in the quality control surveillance of the works and shall be responsible for
ensuring quality control compliance by the other CENTROIDs. The QC Inspector's
responsibilities shall include the following, which shall be done in consultation and subject to
approval by CLIENT.
1- Check on quality control procedures in accordance with project requirements;
2- Assist in the review of test and works specification procedures;
3- Review completeness of all documentation (test results, certification and reports) submission and make recommendations for approval;
4- Inspect and check on compliance of execution of works to specifications and procedures, issue and compile all Non Conformity Reports for the Project;
5- Material inspection at site before acceptance for installation;
6- Coordinate quality control issues for review and resolution; and
7- Supervise the construction activities of the discipline at site as per the requirements of the project documentation.
8- Review the quality and experience of the contractor work force for the jobs assigned.
